The Minister of State for Youth and Children, Bora Muzhaqi, announced today the establishment of the Second National Youth Council, consisting of 16 members, which will serve as an advisory body to the Minister responsible for youth.

“We have established the National Youth Council with 8 representatives from youth and youth organizations, 6 representatives from student councils, 2 representatives from the Local Self-Government Support Agency and the Director of the National Youth Agency, which I have the pleasure to lead in the capacity of Minister responsible for Youth,” said Muzhaqi.

In addition, Minister Muzhaqi gave some details of the first meeting held with the National Youth Council, whose members enjoy a 2-year mandate with the right to re-election.

“In the first meeting, we elected the vice president of the council, Loretta, from the student councils and appointed everyone’s duties for the next two years. We also discussed the interaction they should carry out with the local youth councils, as well as the announcement of the call for youth infrastructure in local self-government units,” said Muzhaqi, hinting that another call for the establishment of youth infrastructure in local self-government units will soon be announced so that young people will have suitable facilities for the development of various youth activities.
